This updated version of Traditions' most popular flintlock is the only muzzleloader of its kind that's able to fire both loose powder and pellets. The Thunder Domeâ„¢ Removable Breech Plug enables more consistent ignition and allows you to fully take down the rifle to make cleaning as simple as modern in-lines. Plus, a deeper priming pan and larger frizzen face with a special hardening treatment improves ignition consistency and provides more efficient spark. The traditional 26" octagonal barrel has 1-in-48" twist rifling for consistent accuracy with patched round balls and sabots. Soft-Touch stocks and forends provide a sure-grip in any conditions and with or without gloves. Also includes rugged high-visibility Williams Metal fiber-optic sights, a 24-1/2" solid aluminum ramrod with a brass loading jig and sling swivel studs.
