*Buyer accepts ALL responsibility for the use of this product and agrees to hold seller harmless from any illegal actions or mis-use by the buyer or any other person resulting from this purchase. Buyer accepts that is buyer's responsibility to check with local authorities to ensure product is legal in their area before completing the purchase. Short Barrel Rifles (SBR) are banned in the following states: AL, DE, HI, IL, MA, NS, NY, RI & WA (Does not apply if only used for airsoft).
CAA makes RONI conversions for both airsoft and factory Glock Series pistols and the Sig Sauer P226 and sells them to both markets at different prices. I have used them both and the ONLY difference I've found is that tiny airsoft markings on the foregrip and buttstock. The only other difference I can see is the $500 price of the normal version. I run several hundred rounds through my Glock 22 .40 S&W in my so-called airsoft version, and it functions flawlessly.
If you are going to run a non-airsoft Sig in the conversion, make sure to check with your local authorities and ask if short barreled rifles (SBR) are legal where you live (short barrel rifles are banned in AL, DE, HI, IL, MA, NS, NY, RI & WA). If you're going to use it with a non-airsoft Sig, you will just need to register the pistol that will be used with it and pay the $200 tax stamp--here is the form if you want to do that:http://www.atf.gov/forms/download/atf-f-5320-1.pdf
**If you want to use it with a non-airsoft Sig and you live in a state that does not allow SBR's or if you don't want to do the registration, you can remove the buttstock and foregrip and use the conversion with a single point sling in an Uzi type function.
If you have questions, please feel free to ask.
**Pistols, sights, scopes, magazines, accessories not included unless specifically listed above.
Thanks for looking and be safe.
