Marlin 1898 12 Gauge Pump Shotgun, Exposed Hammer, 30" Barrel, Marlin Buttplate, six digit serial number 116XXX on the bottom of the receiver frame, letters on the strap behind the hammer are Marlin Model No 17.S, letters on the barrel with arrows on each side are MARLIN FIREARMS CO., NEW HAVEN CT., USA, PAT'D APRIL 2, 1898, SEPT 11, 1894, NOV 6, 1894, NOV 27, 1900, NOV 29, 1904, mirror bore in very good condition and looks to have been shot little, some handling marks and slide wear but bluing and wood in very good condition, is shootable and operates correclty, great for Cowboy Action Shooting outfit or for a Marlin or shotgun collector, originally came from a collector and looks to have been stored more than used, photos do not do it justice. I am selling it for a friend, I am not an FFL so it will be shipped by a local gunshop FFL or sold and picked up locally, $250 Cash, price reduced to $200.
