This is a Berthier carbine. Build on a model 1916 receiver, but has a 1907/15 3 shot magazine. Done by the French during WW1.
Bore is good with strong rifling.
Chaterault arsenal marking, barrel is dated 1917.
Non-import, with all matching number except bolt. Stock has the original finish.
It comes with one-three round clip
