This is an extremely rare 1911 style pistol designed and manufactured by Dick Casull and Casull Arms. I believe the company is now out of business, but at the time this was the hottest 1911 on the planet. The cartridge is the 38 Casull, which is essentially a 45 acp necked down to 9mm. The cases were specially made and strengthened to be able to achieve rifle like ballistics out of the 6 inch barrel. The velocity was over 1800 feet per second. This makes the pistol incredibly flat shooting. I doubt even 50 pistols were ever made. This one, serial number 19, has had 20 rounds fired by me, and I can confirm that it can reliably hit a plate at 100 yds. If I remember correctly, these were hand assembled by one of the well known custom 1911 makers, but I cannot remember which one. The quality is top notch. And a VERY rare gun. This one comes in a hard case with one clip, reloading dies, and 7 boxes (140 rounds) of factory ammo. Ammo ships separately.
