Parker double barrel hammerless shotgun. This gun is not in great condition, hence the low asking price. I'm pretty sure it does shoot, though, as the chamber and firing pins seem solid along with the barrels. This is serial number V 139070, which dates this to 1907. The stock has a couple of cracks in it, and has been repaired at one point. Original 30" barrels. I don't know a whole lot about guns, so I'm not sure if this is a 12, 16, or 20 gauge. Markings on the bottom of the barrel where the barrel attaches include a V inside a circle, the number 4, and a W K inside an oval on the other side. This seems to be the mark of Walter King, the superintendent of Parker Gunworks. Markings on the chamber near the firing pins note these Patent dates:
Pat'd Jan 18 Aug 16 1887 (or 1867??)
May 7 - Oct 8 1880
Pat'd AUG 15, 1905.
That's all I know for sure. If you have any questions, or want to take a look at this gun, please let me know.
