The left side of the slide is marked “Browning Arms Company St. Louis Mo. and Montreal P.Q. / Made In Belgium”.

The right side of the frame is marked “T138845”. The left front of the trigger guard is marked “G” and the right front of the trigger guard is marked with a Lion over “P.V” and a starred “U”. The barrel is marked with 3 proofs and “Cal. 9m/mP.” Barrel Length: 4 5/8”

Sights / Optics: This pistol is mounted with a flat topped rear sight dovetailed in the slide and a blade front sight. A Single Action Semi-Auto with Removable Magazine

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are dark checkered walnut. The checkering is sharp, and the only flaw is a mark on the back of the left grip panel just above the grip screw. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish.

The left side of the slide shows a scratch just above the slide lock slot. The screw heads are sharp except for the magazine release screw, which shows slight disfigurement. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition. Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with one high capacity magazine with a steel follower. The magazine has no markings, and is in Excellent condition.

Our Assessment: This is a very nice Belgian High Power that has been kept in GREAT condition. The quality of this pistol has always been outstanding, and to say “they just don’t make them like this anymore” in an understatement.

This is the perfect size for concealed carry: not too heavy, with a grip frame that is very ergonomic, and it holds 13 rounds of 9mm. If you don’t have a carry permit, use it for home defense, or take it out to the next Action Pistol match at your local club.
