COLT COMMANDER 38 SUPER +P CUSTOM (note unit is SPF twin is in production available for delivery 5/30/14) purchased new in box from Colt in stainless steel and rebuilt with front/rear cocking serrations, complete melt treatment new custom gold post sight, complete trigger group w/ Videcki speed trigger, dehorn melt treatment, stippling, reliability package, bobbed hammer, complete NP3 inc magazine, custom grips.. this unit has been set up for professional use and has NO GRIP SAFETY. The grip safety was installed on the 1911 platform at the request of the Calvary over 100 years ago and has no use/value other than from a litigation standpoint; in reality a grip safety is a detriment to anyone with larger hands as the safety may not be released with an appropriate trigger press.
