This is a brand new in box Sig Sauer P238 Liberty microcompact pistol chambered in .380 ACP. Reacting to many requests from the marketplace for a subcompact SIG SAUER pistol, engineers designed the P238 as a smart looking, small handgun built with the same accuracy and reliability as large frame SIG SAUER pistols. Since its introduction in 2009 the P238 has redefined the role of a .380 ACP caliber pistol for personal protection.

The “Liberty” edition, available for a short time in limited quantities, pays tribute to our founding fathers’ vision of a society free from tyranny. The "Liberty” features a rendering of the Liberty Bell in 24K selective gold inlay. The text “We The People”, from the Preamble to the Constitution, adorns the slide in gold inlay.

With an overall length of just 5.5 inches, a height of 3.9 inches, just over an inch thick, and weighing just under a pound, the Sig Sauer P238 is the ultimate firepower in an all metal frame concealable pistol. The P238 is built on an aluminum alloy beavertail-style frame with a black anodized finish. The Stainless Steel slide has a rugged black Nitron finish and SigLite Night Sights. Rosewood double diamond checkered grips are fitted, offering a firm hold even in tense rapid fire situations. The P238 is extremely reminiscent of a miniaturized 1911, including the renowned trigger design, mainspring housing, and ability to carry cocked and locked for rapid deployment.
