SPRINGFIELD ARMORY - BM59 .308 -- PreBan FACTORY FOLDER

NO RESERVE!! Here's what many consider to be the ultimate development of the M1 Garand platform. This is a Springfield Armory BM59. Chambered for the 7.62x51 Nato (.308 Win), this rifle is similar to the M14/M1A in that it has the detachable box magazine. This "Pre-Ban" rifle has an amazing array of factory features including:

This is a fairly early production rifle and most parts are Beretta marked. Overall condition is excellent. The original parkerized finish rates about 98% overall. There is no rust or pitting. The stock is in very good shape as well and although there are some handling marks, there are no cracks, chips or gouges. The mechanics appear to be in perfect working order and the bore is excellent. Comes with one 20-round magazine.
