AMT Automag V (.50AE)

I have for sale or possible trade an AMT Automag V (.50AE)

They are something you don't see everyday and make me think of a 1911 on steroids. The Automag V was supposed to be limited in production to 3000. However, AMT closed shop before that number could be meet and I have read that less than 2000 were actually made. They were designed by Harry Sanford, the same guy that invented the original .44 Auto Mag. They were said to be the most lightweight of all the semi auto pistols that fire the .50AE (stronger than the .44 Magnum). They weigh in at 2.88 lbs. as opposed to the Desert Eagle's 4.4 lbs.

Some features of the Automag V include:

- 6.5 inch factory ported barrel with compensator slits in the slide are standard

- Made primarily of cast stainless steel

- Round capacity is 5 + 1

- Single action like 1911 with take down being pretty much the same

This one will come with one magazine, Hogue grip sleeve, and your choice of a hard or soft case. I do not have an original owner's manual, but I will include a copy of it on CD in Adobe Acrobat PDF.
